A new fair use code has been developed. According to Joyce Valenza, on her blog, NeverEndingSearch, the new Code is designed to simplify the legalities of using copyrighted materials in an educational setting. The Code does not specify what you cannot do but it does say what you can do. The Code is not law but it is someone's interpretation of the law. Joyce and colleagues think it will untie the hands of the creative students and educators who want to create and work in a media-rich world. Below are four documents or links that you will find useful.
